   Basic Term Life Insurance

 

The Prudential Insurance Company of America's Group Basic Term Life Insurance provides employees with a death benefit that can help offset the financial impact of the loss of a wage earner.
Prudential's basic employer-paid group life plans are available with a range of features so your clients can customize them to their employees' needs.
Basic Term Life coverages can be based on salary, on flat amounts, on position or on a combination of the three.
We provide coverage without requiring evidence of insurability.

 

   Business Travel Accident Insurance

    Business Travel Accident (BTA) insurance coverage provides a benefit for loss of life and certain injuries resulting from a covered accident. The Prudential Insurance Company of America's BTA insurance provides benefits for covered losses incurred by employees while traveling on business.

 

 Enhances life or AD &D coverages. BTA Insurance is offered in addition to Life and/or Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance, but not as stand-alone coverage.   
 Flexible plan designs. You can design a plan that meets the specific travel insurance needs of your clients' employees. Clients can define covered classes and insurance amounts, as well as choose which hazards and benefits will be included.
 Benefits for loss of life and accidental injury. In addition to loss of life, other types of injuries that may be covered include dismemberment, loss of sight or hearing and paralysis. Premium will vary with choice of benefits selected.
 Benefits to Your Clients
   Clients can offer this additional benefit to employees.
   Helps build employee goodwill since it is perceived as a value-added benefit.
   BTA provides your clients with an insurance plan which helps protect your clients employees when they are exposed to covered risks they would not ordinarily face were they not performing a required business related activity.
 Benefits to Your Clients' Employees
   1)Added security and protection.
   2)Benefits are payable in addition to any other insurance in effect at the time of the accident.
   3)Coverage is provided at no cost since BTA insurance is generally paid by employers.

  Retiree Benefits

    The Prudential Insurance Company of America's Retiree Life Buyout product is designed to move the liability for retiree life insurance from the employer to Prudential.

 

 Combines an Insurance Continuance Fund (ICF) with stop-loss coverage.
  The ICF provides the funds needed to finance benefits, while the stop loss coverage prevents clients from ever having to contribute to the ICF again.

   Prudential's approach allows clients to reduce reportable liabilities.
 Benefits to Your Clients
   Clients can offer this additional benefit to employees.
   Helps build employee goodwill since it is perceived as a value-added benefit.
   BTA provides your clients with an insurance plan which helps protect your clients employees when they are exposed to covered risks they would not ordinarily face were they not performing a required business related activity.
 Benefits to Your Clients' Employees
   1)Your clients' employees can depend on conveniently continuing their insurance coverage into retirement.
   2)Unlike other approaches, the plan limits what might be reported as imputed income for retirees receiving over $50,000 of coverage.

 

  Long Term Disability

    The Prudential Insurance Company of America's Long Term Disability plans are focused on helping clients manage employee absence and productivity.

 

Broad menu of plan design options. Clients can choose from a variety of plan design features to tailor a plan to help meet the income protection needs of their employees.
Clearly defined, user-friendly contracts. Terms, administrative rules and expectations are clearly defined within the body of the contract. Both the language and the question and answer format make it easy to understand.
 Risk and cost containment provisions help protect our clients. Key provisions aimed at helping to protect our clients include limited pay periods for mental illness, substance abuse, and self reported symptoms; prudent person pre-existing condition exclusion; 40 hour work week provision; third party liability offset provision; and fraud protection wording.
 Updated benefit provisions improve opportunities for return to productive function. The rehabilitation requirement, part time work provision, and work site modification provision are all focused on collaborating with disabled employees, their physicians and their employers to assist them in returning to work.
