MIPIM 2007, an excellent stage to promote WTC projects to international real estate community
Number : 31   Date : 12/1/2006 10:23:17 AM

BOSTON -- Now is the time for WTC executives to begin planning for participation in the March 13-16, 2007 MIPIM International Property Market in Cannes, France. This will be the 16th year in which the WTCA Facilities Committee will be organizing a stand at the world’s premier event for real estate professionals.

For those WTCs seeking developers, consultants, financing or tenants, we recommend you seriously consider attending MIPIM as a way to make valuable contacts. Over 21,000 representatives of the property industry from 74 nations were present at MPIM 2006, including leading developers, financiers, property consultants, end users and investors.

The many WTCs that have participated over the years have found MIPIM to be an important location to promote their projects as well as a place to meet potential tenants and financing sources. To help you market your WTC project, the Facilities Committee organizes a professionally-designed stand in a high-profile location along the main aisle of the show. We can provide pre-show and on-site assistance to help you identify prospective customers, and we can arrange meetings with representatives of the international property press.

The WTCA has negotiated with MIPIM a reduced admission fee of € 415 plus 19.6% VAT (€ 81.34) for a total of € 496.34 per person for WTCA members. This reduced fee, available through February 20, 2007, is limited to the first four members from your WTC. Special arrangements are necessary if you wish to send additional participants. There is no additional fee charged by the WTCA to participate in the Facilities Committee stand. WTCs are encouraged to develop presentations and/or marketing materials as well as prepare press releases to obtain the maximum value from attending MIPIM. The WTCA stand can accommodate a limited number of display boards and one WTC project model. Only WTC projects may be displayed at the WTCA stand.

For those interested in learning more about attending MIPIM or displaying at the WTCA stand, please contact Lucas DiLeo, WTC Boston, 200 Seaport Boulevard, Suite 50, Boston, MA 02210, USA; Tel. 617-385-5024; Fax 617-385-5033; E-mail: lucas.dileo@wtcb.com

Additional information about MIPIM and registration forms can be found at www.mipim.com. Please visit the MIPIM website to learn about the services they offer to companies seeking to organize press conferences, receptions and seminars, as well as opportunities to advertise in the MIPIM show publications (for a fee.) Those WTCs interested in organizing their own stand should contact the MIPIM organizer directly. Also, please remember that registrations and payments must be made directly to the MIPIM organizer, not to the WTCA.
