A large biennial exhibition of photographs organised by the Zagreb Photo Club and open to authors from Croatia and abroad, both professionals and amateurs. The exhibition is competitive (!!!) with best works receiving numerous awards: the City Of Zagreb Trophy, the Grand Prize, the Zagreb Photo Club prizes (one gold, two silver and three bronze plaques for individual photos; a gold, silver and bronze plaque for collections; five diplomas) and the FIAP award from the sponsor of the Zagreb Salon (first, second and third prize for individual photos and a first, second an third prize for collections).

About 2500 photos have been submitted to the panel of judges, of which 250 will be exhibited in Zagreb (including all of the award-winners), and 50 each in the cities of Bjelovar, Vara?din, Split, Osijek and ?ibenik.
The Zagreb Photo Club international photo exhibition was established back in the year 1910. During its long existence it has played host to the world's best photographers from many countries and continents. It has been held as a biennale since 1951 and under its present moniker (ZAGREB SALON) since 1962.
